Water whitening testing results of ENCOR 2787 compared to standard acrylic emulsionwith 12°C MFFT:
Samples were formulated with coalescent for good film formation and applied to a thickness of 150 μm on glass. Samples were left to dry for 24 hours before they were immersed in water at 23°C for 24 hours. ENCOR 2787 stays transparent after immersion in water.
Application on exterior wall paint:
ENCOR 2787 showed no chalking, cracking, blistering and flaking. It has excellent performance as a premium exterior wall paint.
ENCOR 2787 performed very well in the 2-year aged testing of wood cladding on both new and aging wood.
