Maha in Indonesia participated in the Indonesia Cosmetic Ingredients (ICI) event organized by Perkosmi, the association of Indonesian cosmetic companies. In 2023, this event took place in Surabaya city, specifically at the Grand City Convex & Convention Hall Surabaya, from June 7th to 8th, 2023. Aimed at facilitating the exchange of information regarding technological developments and active ingredients for beauty, ICI Surabaya 2023 was supported by 44 leading companies in cosmetics, personal care, packaging, laboratory equipment, and other beauty-related industries.
Indonesia Cosmetic Ingredients 2023
Showcased 14 types of trending prototype products for personal care and home care. Visitors not only had the opportunity to learn about the ingredients and manufacturing processes of these products but also engage in direct discussions with formulators and principals (The Eternal Nature, Arxada, and Ecoori).

With a focus on natural and sustainable concepts, the prototypes exhibited at ICI Surabaya 2023 utilize active ingredients derived from plants such as Lemon Extract, Mulberry Extract, Coffee Extract, Eucalyptus Oil, Melazero, and many more.
Beauty Seminar for Sensitive Skin in Babies and Children
On June 7th, 2023, at 13:00, Maha conducted a seminar entitled “Natural Treatment for your Baby, Kids, and Teenage Skin: Actives for Preventing, Improving, and Treating your Skin Disorders.” With a total of 67 participants in Room 2 of ICI Surabaya 2023, this seminar, which focused on sensitive skin care, received positive responses from attendees.
The event was opened by Mr. Hafidi, the Country Manager of Maha in Indonesia, followed by Kaeshan Ker as the moderator. Participants showed enthusiasm during the presentation on active ingredients suitable for sensitive skin care by Mr. Jimmy Shin, the founder of The Eternal Nature, an innovative active ingredient company from South Korea. Some of the active ingredients highlighted in this seminar were Stresszero, Aczero, and Moistboom.
Next, Ms. Yuliarni, the Technical Marketing Manager of Maha Chemicals Indonesia, continued with a formulation and application guide for the previously explained active ingredients. The event concluded with a Q&A session and a quiz for the participants. Overall, the event proceeded smoothly from start to finish.
