In the latest trends, Moroccan oil has gained a lot of popularity as a beauty ingredient. As consumers increasingly turn to simple and natural ingredients, the clean beauty trend is intensifying. It means the ingredients are derived from nature and are often botanically sourced, without chemically-created ingredients. Moroccan oil is entirely natural and free of silicone, alcohols, and other chemicals that can upset sensitive skin and hair. It is also a luxury inclusion in a lot of skin and hair care products. This ingredient is popular among beauty experts, celebs, and gurus alike due to its intensely moisturising, nourishing, and conditioning properties. Moroccan oil benefits are far too numerous to overlook, from hydrating dry skin to conditioning severely damaged hair.

What are the popular Moroccan oils?

Argan Oil

Argan oil is an organic product extracted from the kernels of the argan tree. It is extremely rich in beneficial nutrients including fatty acids and vitamin E.It is also known as “Moroccan’s Liquid Gold”. For centuries, Moroccan Berber women extracted 100% pure essential oil from argan fruits to use for health and beauty.

Skin Moisturiser:

With its high vitamin E and fatty acid content, argan oil is the ideal product to give skin a natural boost.

Hair Conditioner:

Argan oil can moisturise your hair and scalp and protect your hair from everyday damage. By reducing breakage and split ends and keeping your scalp healthy, argan oil may help prevent hair loss for thicker, fuller hair.

Its anti-oxidant effect makes argan oil the ideal anti-aging product. It restores elasticity and leaves skin feeling plumper and softer.

It is the ideal protection against stretch marks and sagging, puckered skin after birth by increasing the elasticity of skin due to its vitamin E content keeping skin and hair soft, healthy and hydrated during pregnancy.

Prickly Pear Seed Oil

While the prickly pear is native to parts of the United States, Mexico, and South America, and also flourishes in Africa, Australia, and the Mediterranean, the best prickly pear seed oil for skin care is sourced from Morocco.

Skin Moisturiser:

It contains a high content of linoleic acid. Linoleic acid helps the skin retain water, keeping it hydrated.

Prickly Pear seed oil is rich in vitamins E and K, essential fatty acids, and antioxidants. It moisturizes and softens wrinkles, so it is incredibly useful oil for maturing skin. It stimulates the growth of new cells and helps restore skin elasticity.

It contains high levels of antioxidants and has antibacterial properties. This suggests it could be used to prevent skin damage and future breakouts.

Free Acidity and Peroxide Level are the two critical spec to determine the oil quality.  As high as the free acidity is, as low as the oil quality isHigh free acidity means rancidity in the oil and short shelf life. Same thing for peroxide levels.

We produce “triple extra virgin” ( Grade 1 ) argan oil and prickly pear seed oil which is the summum quality in the world ( free acidity expressed by Leonic acid < 0.5% )
