E50 is an award that seeks to recognize the top 50 most enterprising local, privately-held companies, that have contributed significantly towards the economic development of Singapore, both locally and abroad.

The award is jointly organized by The Business Times and KPMG in Singapore, supported by Enterprise Singapore, Singapore Business Federation and Singapore Exchange, and sponsored by OCBC Bank.

Participants are evaluated on a set of qualitative criteria including the business model, management ideals and innovation, internationalization, knowledge initiatives, market branding and presence, and risk management.
