Do you still find it difficult to adopt carbon black due to dispersibility issue?
Some of our customers have shared about their difficulty in using carbon black due to several technical issues they encounter as they test the samples. One of those problems is regarding to dispersion. In order to help these customers, we found a solution for them.
Our Solution: EMPEROR 1800 and 2000
EMPEROR 1800 and EMPEROR 2000 specialty carbon blacks are designed for water- based automotive base-coats and deep black mass tone applications. EMPEROR 2000 carbon black is the highest color offering for water-based formulations, while EMPEROR 1800 carbon black combines very high jetness with transformational ease- of-use properties. Both products utilize Cabot’s proprietary surface treatment technology that breaks the trade-off between color performance and dispersibility.
