Tan Seow Hoon
Tan Seow Hoon joined MahaChem (previously named KC Pte Ltd) in 1992 as the sales executive of a 3 persons team in Singapore based paint chemical raw materials importer, stockist and distributor. In the 2000s, she was appointed the Business Manager with the role of geographical expansion of the specialty chemicals ingredients marketing and distribution business in ASEAN. She held roles in leading the market development of new applications areas in ink, plastic, rubber and constructions industries. She was then appointed as a Managing Director in 2015 and took over the execution of longer range strategic initiatives and leading all aspects of financial management of the company. Seow Hoon graduated from University of Washington with Bachelor degree and holds a EMBA from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. She also had completed the Owners/President Management course at Harvard University in 2016.
Chew Chin Seong
Chew Ching Seong Started off as sales executive with MahaChem in 1999. Over 19 years period, Chin Seong had hold a various positions in sales, marketing, commercial, business development before he became a director of the company. With his deep understanding of Maha‘s culture and a long experience managing Maha’s businesses in ASEAN, he is dedicated to drive Maha’s core businesses to the next level in 5 years company target. He is also one of the key driver to diversify Maha to a new business segment. Chin Seong was graduated from RMIT University, with Bachelor of Business Administration.
Nick Tan worked with a Japanese electronic component company for a couple of years before joining MahaChem Malaysia in 1996. In the beginning, he was the only person with a clerical assistant, and the company faced the Asian Financial Crisis in the end of 1997, but Nick overcame such difficulties through his leadership and he has been contributing the company to grow steadily since then. He is currently the director of MahaChem Malaysia, and is putting effort continually to pioneer the industry/application expansion of MahaChem group. Nick Tan graduated from University of Wisconsin in the US with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
Joined Maha Malaysia as Sales Manager in 1998. Promoted to Marketing Manager in 2008 and General Manager in 2011. Lai Choo came to Maha with vast sales experience from metal pre-treatment, natural rubber industry as well as coating industry. His area of expertise is the specialty coating. Lai Choo graduated with Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) from University of Malaya in 1989. Later obtained his MBA in 2011 from Wawasan Open University, Malaysia.
Joined MahaChem Thailand in 2003. She had 2 years of experience in plastic company as R&D in charge and 7 years of experience in Coating Business as the technician, sales and marketing before joining MahaChem Thailand. She used her experience and knowledge in coating business to expand the coating, imaging, building and bonding business units to be the biggest businesses in Thailand. Currently, she continually putting effort to explore and grow other businesses such as plastics, rubber, personal and home care businesses. With her strong belief in the importance of people and teamwork culture, she is leading her team to make MahaChem Thailand better and more successful. Sasi graduated with Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) from Kasetsart University in 1994. Later obtained her Master degree in Business economics in 2000 from National Institute of Development Administration.
Nguyen Bao Dung
Joined MahaChem Vietnam as the country head in 2004. Prior to joining MahaChem, she built her career in a Pharmaceutical company for 3 years and in Chemical Distribution company for 2 years. With her passion and leadership, she has been driving MahaChem Vietnam to be the preferred partner for chemical solutions in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She graduated in University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City with the Bachelor Degree of Art in Foreign Trade in 1999.
