Success Story: How Our Technical Support resulted in Right Paint Solution

Our customer who is in the coating paint industry in Indonesia was having difficulty in attaining the specifications that they were looking for. MahaChem provided the solution with the technical support and compatible products.
Our customer is a local paint manufacturer in Indonesia, mainly producing auto-refinish coating for retail market. Their product range include epoxy primer, polyurethane primer, base coat and polyurethane top coat. We identified their key problems. Then we helped them to overcome with technical support, flexible logistics service, and our products.
Among the solutions we offered to them are Synocure 862 X60 series, Hydroxyl functional acrylic resins mainly for Polyurethane coatings.
Customer had issues with the following:
- Insufficient glossiness of Paint
- Insufficient Viscosity level of Paint
- Over-demanding initial MOQ from previous distributor, which went around 10MT
- Long Lead Time (1 Month Plus)
- No Technical Support from previous Supplier

- Offering made-to-stock option to customer (Reduced MOQ & lead time)
- Providing products that tackle glossiness and viscosity issue

As the result, the customer attained the glossiness and viscosity level they aimed. They speeded up the decision to replace the previous ingredients with our products with the support from our technical team.
