Are you still relying on botox to reduce your facial wrinkles? We have an safe alternative.
Wrinkles are one of the key factors to aging appearance, affecting both young and mature women. However, how much do you know about it?
Are you aware that wrinkles are categorized into two groups, dynamic and static Wrinkles? Dynamic wrinkles are caused by repeated facial muscle movements and result in permanent lines on our face. It is more common on eyes and forehead area. On the other hand, Static wrinkles are caused by the loss of collagen and skin elasticity which leads to saggy skin.
One of the most common anti-wrinkle solution used by women in late 20s and early 30s is botox! (Source: Fox News, 2019) However, botox is not affordable to many considering its cost and side effects. Hence, we offer the cheaper substitute to botox without any side-effect. Our solution is Acetyl Hexapeptide, AHP-5, the botox-like anti wrinkle agent.
AHP-5 and Its Functions
AHP-5 is a natural botox-like short bio-peptide, consisting of 6 amino acids and N-terminal acetylation which is effective in relieving deep wrinkles.
Similar to botox, the main function of ApepAHP-5 is to regulate the formation and stabilization of SNARE complex and modulate the secretion of Acetylcholine. Also, it functions to control the secretion of catecholamines. Hence, it effectively care the facial wrinkles.
Comparison between Botox and AHP-5 Mechanisms
Snare Complex: Series responses of snare proteins (SNAP-25, VAMP and Syntaxin) that allows vesicles containing neurotransmitters to fuse into cell membrane and release wrinkle-causing substances into the synaps.
AHP-5 disturbs the natural muscle contracting signal by competing with SNAP-25 for the same site, preventing the formation of Snare complex. During the process, AHP-5 inhibits Acetylcholine secretion and induce muscle relaxation. Hence, improve dynamic wrinkles and skin elasticity.
On the other hand, botox treatment results in muscle paralysis (Skin becoming stiffer).
Advantages of AHP-5
The advantages of formulating with our AHP-5 into skin care solution include:
- High concentration peptides (500-1000ppm), low dosage (0.05%) required
- Excellent skin penetration due to its short-chain structure
- Lower cost compared to the market due to patented technology that enables mass production
- No side effects
- Non-toxic
Botox Vs AHP-5
AHP-5 | Botox |
---|---|
100% needle-free | Injection into body |
No side effects | Side effects from cold to ptosis |
Muscle relaxation | Muscle paralyse |
Progressive efficacy with sustaintial use | Re-application after 6 months |
Relatively inexpensive | High cost , $600 or more per time |
Easy to use at any time | Hospital treatment required |
Less invasive version | More invasive version |
Efficacy Test Results
According to the toxicity test, the cell viability (%) remained constant. Hence, not toxic to human cells up to 1000 ppm dosage. [HaCaT cell is human keratinocyte, and 3T3 cell is mouse fibroblast cell]
According to Skin topographic imprint, our AHP-5 improve the depth of wrinkles by 30% over 30 days.
